Commitment to Responsible Mineral (Material) Procurement
Ainak is committed to working together with our business partners to promote responsible mineral procurement, recognizing the seriousness of conflict minerals, the issues occuring not only in the Democratic Republic of the Congo and adjoining countries but also in conflict and high-risk zones where raw material trade may contribute to a source of funding for armed groups, human right violation, environment degradation, and illegal mining.
From a CSR perspective, business has been expanding into responsible mineral procurement and is moving towards multi-mineral investigation.
With the cobalt and mica being added to RMI's smelter or refiner audit process (RMAP), we are working to identify the supply chain and verify the background of smelters.
We would appreciate your cooperation as we will conduct surveys on a regular basis
